Warren is a multiple Australian motor racing champion. He has raced all around the world and has competed 16 times in the V8 Supercar Endurance Series. He has raced in the Carrera Cup championship three times, finishing second in 2014.
He is one of Australia’s most respected Supercar co-drivers having partnered Craig Lowndes to first place at the 2012 Sandown 500, third at the Bathurst 1000 then 1st in the 2013 V8 Supercar Pirtek Cup. He has also taken Bathurst podiums with good mate Garth Tander and won the 2015 Enduro Cup, resulting in Luff becoming the first driver to win the award twice.
After his Bathurst podium in 2020 with Chaz Mostert, he now has the distinction of the most Bathurst podiums without a win, but he plans to fix that soon!
In 2023 he is looking forward to continuing his new off-road career with WAU and coaching the MR stars of the near future.
Tim started his career back in the eighties when he competed in the NZ Formula Ford and South Island Sports Car championships.
He then moved to the UK where he worked with teams competing in Formula 3, Formula Renault and the BTCC. In the five years he was in the UK, the teams Tim worked for secured three championship victories.
Since moving away from motorsport Tim has held a variety of executive positions specialising in merger and acquisition transactions and is the founder and Principal of successful corporate advisory practice. www.miles.com.au
Tim was 2016 GT3CC Elite champion and runner-up in the 2017 AGT Endurance championship. Tim joined Carrera Cup in 2018 for his first Pro Am campaign. 2023 will be Tim's tenth season with MR.
Coming from an open wheel background, 2021 was Jackson's first season campaigning a GT car with McElrea Racing in Porsche Carrera Cup. As a kid Jackson raced Go Karts with success, then in 2018 stepped up to single seaters for the Formula 4 championship.
He competed in the F4 championship again in 2019 and started racing internationally in New Zealand’s Toyota Racing Series in 2019 and 2020, taking a win ahead of future F1 driver Yuki Tsunoda.
In 2019 he also raced in the Asian Formula 3 championship taking two podiums which was intended to be the springboard to the Formula Renault Eurocup in 2020. The Covid situation left him stranded at home despite promising pre-season testing in Europe.
As expected, Jackson took his first Carrera Cup race win in 2022 and is committing himself to winning the 2023 championship.
Bayley competed in karting from age 6 till 12, then stepped into a Hyundai Excel in 2017 at age 14, before progressing to Touring Cars at the tender age of 15.
At the age of 16 he moved up to the V8 powered Marc Cars and competed in the prestigious Bathurst 12 Hour plus other endurance races.
To take his first step towards his goal of international GT Racing, Bayley joined MR for his debut in the 2021 Michelin Sprint Challenge Cup Championship. Despite a truncated Michelin Sprint Challenge season, Bayley stepped up to Carrera Cup in the new 992 Cup car for the 2022 championship and is looking for podiums and race wins in 2023.
Christian started racing karts in 2012 till 2017, winning numerous Regional and State championships and Australian championship rounds. He went on to race in two international championship racing events in Daniel Ricciardo's race team.
He progressed to Michelin Sprint Challenge in 2018, where he won the class B championship. In 2019 Christian stepped up to Sprint Challenge Pro class, where he earned a pole position, two podiums and a lap record.
In 2020 he joined MR for a partial Sprint Challenge season, then another disrupted 2021 in Carrera Cup before his first full season with MR 2022 in the 992 Cup Car.
In 2023 he will certainly be a race and championship contender.
Launching his Motorsport career at the beginning of 2021, Ryder's first year of competitive Motorsport saw him take out the Queensland State Formula Ford Championship. This was followed by the 2022 National Formula Ford Championship where he took out a number of podiums, wins and achieved the Rookie of the Year “YOUNG GUN” Award. Alongside this, he would compete in the very competitive National Aussie Racing Cars Championship.
Ryder’s success in Australia saw him cross international waters into New Zealand where he competed amongst the world’s best up and coming drivers in the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship, bringing it home a few podiums and solid results.
In 2023 Ryder will “send it” in the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Championship, sporting the bright #101 Local Legends entry with the McElrea Racing outfit.
Although starting his career late, he is determined to make it in this sport as a professional race car driver overseas. He understands the hard work, dedication and commitment required and is committed to the Journey.
Tom commenced his motor racing career in 2009 at Grenfell Kart Club in regional NSW at the age of 7 before moving to State and National Level. Tom even competed Internationally at the British Kart Grand Prix.
In 2018 he moved from Karting into Formula Ford where he went on to win the NSW and Victorian Championships and the 2021 Australian Formula Ford Championship. Tom won his Class in a Toyota 86 at the 2021 Bathurst 6 Hour, then went on to outright victory in 2022 driving a self-built BMW M2 at the famed Bathurst circuit.
Tom won the 2022 Porsche Michelin Sprint Series on debut, as well as taking out the Jim Richards Endurance Trophy which lead to the announcement that Tom would be the first driver to sign with MR’s North American Carrera Cup team.
While new to racing, the MR crew has been working with Richard for over five years while running the two Cup Cars for the Porsche Sport Driving School, where he has been a regular customer.
Richard has extensive experience driving a wide range of cars on tracks all over the world. In 2021 he decided to take up racing here in Australia and 2023 will be his second full year racing in the Michelin Sprint Challenge championship.
Professionally Richard practices law in his own firm, Tucker & Cowen, practicing extensively in Commercial litigation and insolvency law, leading a large team in some of the most significant litigation in Queensland and throughout Australia.
When not working or racing he would prefer to be freediving, skiing or spearfishing. His wife would prefer he gave up most or all of the above pursuits (except ski-ing).
Caleb started his racing career in karts, which spanned nine years and saw Caleb win a host of individual races, multiple series wins and become State Championship. Kart racing took Caleb all over Australia, Singapore and the World Championships in Italy.
The past 2022 season, Caleb secured a seat as the Arise Racing Junior driver after winning the search for the next top driver. Caleb dominated and impressed the nation in his first ever year in Motorsport. Winning multiple races, a National round at The Bend Motorsport Park in SA and coming second in the FSR Championships, after only competing in limited rounds.
In 2023 Caleb will take his first step towards GT racing by joining MR for his first season in Michelin sprint Challenge.
At the age of 14 years old Lachlan started cutting laps at the Norwell Motorplex, before his first Excel Cup Race at Queensland Raceway.
From there he has continued to hone his race craft at tracks like Mount Panorama, Morgan Park, Reid Park, Hidden Valley and QR before making his way into the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia 86 Series for the 2021 season.
Throughout the interrupted 2021 TGRA 86 Series Lachlan was one of six young drivers selected to test the Erebus V8 Supercar at Queensland Raceway.
He joined MR for the 2022 Michelin Sprint Challenge and took podiums in preparation for a shot at the 2023 Sprint Challenge title.
Brett got his first taste of Motorsport in 2015 when he bought an ex-Ford BF Brute Ute to compete in local 'Combined Sports Sedans' races at Morgan Park.
He joined MR to compete in the Michelin Sprint Challenge in 2017 and scored podium finishes in his first season of racing the Porsche.
For 2018 'Blisters' upgraded to the new generation 911 Cup Car and he took 2nd in the GT3CC Pro-Am championship which he backed up in 2019.
He had a break for the 2020 and 2021 championships to focus on business and his young family. As expected he came back in 2022 ready to win and took his first Sprint Challenge Pro-Am championship! A feat he plans to repeat in 2023.
