Starting on two-wheels at the tender age of 4, Adam transitioned to cars at 14 and competed in club events and hill-climbs in his home state of Tasmania.
After winning the Sports GT championship in 2015 in a Porsche GT3 Cup, Adam switched to the Touring Car Masters racing Holden Toranas and the baby blue Ford Capri he quickly became known for following his unstoppable success at the Bathurst 1000 in 2016.
In 2017, Garwood Motorsport built a Holden Torana, which Adam raced at the front of the field against legends such as John Bowe and Steve Johnson.
For 2018 the small-Tasmanian family team will pursue the long-time dream of joining Porsche Carrera Cup, and after doing the first three rounds solo, Adam joins the MR driver line-up, as part of the Michelin Junior Driver Program.

What are your top 3 Career Highlights so far?
- 6th Overall (38 cars) and 1st Australian at the Bathurst 1000 Touring Car Masters Australia vs New Zealand race
- 3rd Overall and 1st in Pro Am at Bathurst 1000 in our home built Torana (Behind John Bowe and Steve Johnson)
- Receiving the 2016 CAMS Australia Bursons National Rising Star Award
What is your Motorsport Background?
- State-level motocross since the age of 4
- Started racing cars at 14 years of age in club events and hillclimbs in Tasmania
- Won the Sports GT championship in 2015
- Touring car masters in Holden Toranas and a Ford Capri from 2015 - 2017
Any other personal interests you would like to share?
- Anything to fuel my adrenaline... Go karts, water skiing, dirt bike riding, mountain biking, etc.
What is your all-time favourite race car?
- Ford Capri Perana, it's such a crazy and incredibly fast car to race!
- Nissan Altima Supercar, I had the opportunity to do a test with Matt White Motorsport and absolutely loved it.
What is your favourite circuit?
- Bathurst The Capri is wild around the mountain, and it’s definitely the most fun I have ever had racing! and Adelaide
