MR had a dream start to the new GT3 Cup Challenge championship taking three of the six podium spots across the two classes.
In an effort to keep the racing fair and competitive the cars are split into two categories.
A Class for last generation 997 GT3 Cups (2010 onwards) and B Class for earlier models.
That didn’t stop Matt Campbell from giving some of the newer cars a hurry-up in the older model N2C liveried car..!!
Tony Walls finished third in A class, while Matt Campbell and Tim Miles took the top two positions in B class.
MR regular Scott Taylor showed great speed and potential in his new (ex-Percat) car.
MR newcomer David Ryan, the new owner of the ex Luffy N2C cup car, had a great debut only just missing the podium, and Grant Sparks showed that despite being in the older 911 he will be a force to be reckoned with very soon..!!
The team is now on the way to Melbourne for round two of the Australian Carrera Cup at the AGP this weekend.
